I remember first hearing about this game. You're an assassin and you betray your creed, so you have to go around and kill the enemy in order to redeem yourself and save your pretty arse. Well, Assassin's Creed is more than that. A LOT more than that.
Within the first opening cut scenes, you realize that this isnt your typical game taken place in the past. In fact, it takes place in the future. To make a long series of complex things short, scientist are doing some genetic memory test thing, and your ancestors just happen to be assassins.
Enough with the story, because that isnt the cool part. What makes this game interesting, is the amazing graphics and scenery throughout the entire game, the gameplay itself, and how you attack people. The A B X Y buttons each control one part of the main character; the head, off hand, main hand, and legs. It doesnt seem like much, but the beauty of this comes when in combat against multiple enemies, when you can control who to attack with what in the most efficient deadly way. Not to mention you have yoru swords, hidden blades, and throwing knives... which covers all ranges of combat.
The only downfall in this game is that it goes by rather fast. And at times it can seem rather repetitive, but over all, this game has a lot to it, and it's rather great. Worth it's money if you buy used.
